The NEXT NURSE program is a Registered Apprentice Program (RAP) that will assist Alluvion Health, and other partner organizations find and train healthcare workers in positions such as Certifified Medical Assistant (CMA) Licensed Practical Nurses
(LPN) and Registered Nurses (RN).

This workforce development program aims to address the shortage of nurses and underemployment among disadvantaged groups in our community through collaborative Registered Apprentice Programs. NEXT NURSE will create a stable workforce through a strong and wholistic educational collaboration. Alluvion Health, a leader in Community Health, provides clinical and educational experiences to current and future students pursuing careers in health care from entry to terminal degree.

The NEXT NURSE program is funded through a grant by the Department of Labor.
